The Residential Life Grants (RLGs) is a funding scheme for students living in University-owned Student Accommodation. The program provides funding and support for students to create innovative co-curricular initiatives or the purchase of equipment that builds a sense of belonging and connection amongst the University residential communities.
You can apply as an individual student or a group of students to access up to $5000 of funding and development support for initiative or equipment purchases that support students living in University-owned Student Accommodation.
Initiative or equipment requests must fit within one or more of the following Residential Life themes:
- Social connection and belonging;
- Academic Readiness and leadership;
- Wellbeing and Health;
- Community and cultural engagement.
Your initiative is not limited to the student accommodation which you currently reside and there are three streams of funding you can apply for.
- A Small stream is for any initiative or equipment request for your accommodation site and you can request up to $1,000
- A Medium stream is for any initiative or equipment request for your accommodation site and you can request from $1,001 to $3,000
- A Large stream is for any initiative or equipment request across multiple accommodation sites and you can request from $3,001 to $5,000
